I learned and enjoyed DESIGN 200 this quarter. It’s one of my favorite courses this quarter. I enjoyed some learning inside and outside the class. I especially like the journals we did like seek and find, found face, scavenger hunter and Cobego. Thank you for making this course really interesting and enjoyable. Thank you Gabe!

We worked on storage that is easy to organize. You can use the storage to put dirty clothing and clean in it. You can add to the storage shelves partition, sliding drawers, sliding baskets, hooks, holders and drain tub to your dirty closet and washed into it. The user will be water enthusiast, hunter and active family. Our team worked very well together. I feel that we did a great job in the project.

But we decided to go to a storage unit for outdoor equipment. Our project is called storage unit, we were thinking of having a nice big closet-like storage unit to keep all your standard Coleman outdoors products. There would be drain tubs at the base so that you could put wet dirty gear inside. At the top would be a clothes hanger bar where you could hang coats, pants, etc. We even thought of having an "add-on" product where it would be a shelving unit that hangs from the bar taking up half of the hanging space inside. The shelving of course would have adjustable shelves within it to better serve the customer with their variety of gear sizing. Getting back to the drain tubs on the bottom, there would be boot attachments (a cylinder of sorts) where you could put your boots upside down in the tubs for easy cleaning. The whole thing would be well vented, and we had talk of having a fan inside. Addressing the weight, the storage unit would be made of the same material that Rubbermaid outdoor storage units are made of (thick plastic, but hollow so very light weight). We would also have lockable wheels on the unit so that someone could easily wheel it out of the garage for easy clean up.

We got with the project. We played around with the idea of making a pet product, a couch, some sort of coffee appliance,
Pets products:
· Dogs bowl
· Lighted collar
· Automatic food dispenser
Couch
· Cooler

· Coffee brewer
· Auto cream/ sugar dispenser

We have done the sketch of the product. Brandon is the designer of the project.
Well, my contribution is to get head in this project and have been more listening to my team than anything. I don't have pretty cool ideas like my team. We all work great together.

RR08- Chapter 9 - 10
In chapter 9 talked about the trends for design groups and how some companies delivering unique ideas like Nokia and chapter 10 talked about the two different themes in design that cannot remain isolated. I think that in this book was totally different from the previous. I enjoyed more reading Cradle to Cradle than Design a very short introduction by John Heskett.

CR07 Marshmallow
It was a pretty interesting design with spaghetti and marshmallow. I noticed that almost everybody used the same style to build it. Also, Cobego presentation was long but good at the same time. they have a good projects.
